01 // Why
Why I made it
Arms & Assets comes from the three years I spent running Garry's Mod roleplay servers, where the freedom and the player economy were at the heart of the game.
I wanted to build those systems properly in Unreal Engine 5: items that feel unique, an inventory you can trust, and an economy players can trade in.
02 // How
How I built it
Items are generated, not hand-made. Weapons roll random stats, carry their own identity, and can be upgraded and socketed with gems.
Inventory, ownership, and trading all work from the same item data, so an item keeps its identity wherever it goes.
I added analytics and admin tools early, the same way I balanced my Garry's Mod servers from live player data.
